The Summer Discovery Series is a free, three-weekend online event exploring the ethical, philosophical, and metaphysical frontiers of science. Organized by the Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies (BIHS), the series features 19 distinguished speakers from around the world. While 14 of them hold doctoral degrees, others bring exceptional depth through hard-earned wisdom, cultural leadership, and long-standing contributions to interdisciplinary dialogue.
Across the three weekends, participants will explore a range of thought-provoking topics reflecting four core themes: consciousness, ethics and morality, cosmology, and the science of life. Through accessible presentations, panel discussions, and informal Zoom breakout rooms, participants will engage with deep ideas in a collegial and interactive setting.
The event is designed to encourage dialogue, reflection, and community-building among seekers, scholars, and practitioners alike. Each day includes time for informal breakout discussions, Q&A sessions, and generous breaks to allow for meaningful interaction.
